Enrico
No

version : Current SVN
operating system : Irrelevant ( OS X Maveriks anyway )
steps : just look at the sources in ./api and ./include
sample prog : just look at the sources in ./api and ./include

mismatch between the headers rexx.h and oorexxapi.h
in the ./api and ./include subdirectories

make install
install the ./api sources
the logic would suggest to install the ./include version

please document the why of this odd choice
or align the sources

the current setup
makes difficult to track the installed vs source/distribution sources

cheers

    Hi Enrico

You're going to have to be a little more specific in explaining what you think the bug is here for me to understand what the problem is.

Are you saying make install doesn't work? I don't think anyone maintains that.

As far as I can tell there is only 1 rexx.h and 1 oorexxapi.h in the source tree. If you are only working with one source tree version, I don't see how there could be a header mismatch. Or maybe I don't understand what you mean by a header mismatch.

I did some checking and probably found the reason
for the inconsistencies in my local repository

one upon a time the checkout was

    svn co https://oorexx.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/oorexx/main/trunk
    now is
    svn checkout svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/oorexx/code-0/main/trunk

a few months ago when doing a svn update
I got zillions of odd messages and warning
since they were just svn related I trusted that everything would be ok
and since ooRexx built and worked I did not care to check further

now I had to check things a bit and found the inconsistency

I deleted everything starting anew from scratch and everything is consistent now .

    sorry for the misunderstanding

    consider the report closed

    thank You, cheers
    Enrico
