I tried to download and install oorexx 3.1.2 on my iMac OSX Lion machine and although the install appears to finish without any errors, I can't find any files or folders that look like oorexx.
So have you looked in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin for a program named rexx?
You seem to have CSS turned off.
Please don't fill out this field.
I have looked in /bin and there is no rexx or anything else that looks like oorexx.
only the system has programs in /bin. You need to look in either /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin. (most likely the first)
I looked in use/bin too and no rexx there is no use/local/bin.
correction that was usr/bin. My Mac auto-corrected me.
Ok, check you home directory. I just looked at the installer, and it looks like it might install in ~/bin etc. ($HOME/bin).
Ok Sorry for the run around. The install says that the default install location is /opt/ooRexx.

Thanks! Found it at last! Now where is this PROFILE file?
The file is .profile, and it should be located in your home directory.
Installation was successful. No bugs to correct.
