A macro to convert an OOWriter document (of course with OOoLatex objects) in a --simple-- latex file.

Just to avoid the pain to copy and paste a lot of OOoLatex eqs to a text file.

Why not the reverse: take a latex file and convert all the $...$ and \begin{}...\end{} in OOoLatex objects.

I heard about OOLatex (only 2o's) that deals with the formatting.

Useful for researchers addicted to latex but publishing in journals accepting only office-like files.

tex4ht converts .tex in .odt (and many other formats), I guess the equations appear as simple pictures in the OO document. Is there any extra-information attached to them, such that OOoLatex could recognize the latex syntax associated to these pictures?

If no extra info exists, it would be interesting to modify tex4ht to get comptability with OOoLatex.
