I have a very large Java program written in the netbeans environment. And it has compiled and run perfect for years so I do not want to have to comple the code again.
I want to see if I can use the jar file and change the manifest.mf when I run my build.xml.
I was having
Problems importing the code into Eclipse.
Is it possible to use the dist.jar that netbeans creates to use the build <project>
To write a new MANIFEST.MF that will have the dependencies in the Class-Path key and
Extract any manifest that Netbeans has in the Netbeans generated jar file and rewrite
Or replace the manifest with my new MANIFEST.MF so the program will run
As a executable jar file that will run outside of the Netbeans enviornment?
I have both of my applications running as a standalone exec.
I have altered my build.xml and it creates and runs the standalone
application to run out side of the netbeans enviornment.
One of my applications works but I have another app that uses a derby
embedded database and it will not create the db and or it will not connect
to the db if it is already created. I there a way to run this application
and have it use my db?
