I am a student of Masters of Mechatronics Engineering and have entered my
thesis phase. My research interests revolve around Motion Planning
algorithms (specially RRTs) and I have been studying POMDPs for quite some
time as well. I have also been developing a complete system for Robocup
Small Size League for last three years. My background makes OMPL an ideal
library for me to work on and develop.
I am seeking guidance on what can be a good research problem to work on
given this background, which may also overlap with the areas of OMPL? I
have gone through the GSoC 2013 ideas list and "User guided motion
planning" seems one possible option, but I am writing this email to discuss
if other possibilities in OMPL existed as well?
