Toshiba Satellite M60 report Private: (?)
No
Hello Math,

I use your module on a Satellite M60 with ectype=12.

It enables:
blank bluetooth cooling display hotkeys version dmi lcd temperature
touchpad wifi throttling.

Everything works as expected except hotkeys which send no scancode to the
kernel and wifi enable/disable (wifi always on).

Please find attached the DSDT, the DML string, the dump of the controller
of my machine (as generated by the dump option of your module), and the
lspci output.
If I can help in any other way please let me know.

Regards,

Claudio Viano

    Hi,
Your dmi signature is now in the database.

What are exactly the display outputs of your laptops ? from your DSDT your seems to have VGA, TVOUT and DVI ? if so then I should be able to add DVI support to the display feature.

Concerning the wifi feature it seems to misbehave in a number of configurations.
The hotkeys issue is more disturbing... There are two king of hotkeys:
-Multimedia keys (silver round keys just below your screen in your laptop model)
-Some Fn keys such as Fn+F3 and Fn+F4
They are handling by two very distinct codes, neither of them are working ?

Hi Math, thanks for the response,

my computer only has RGB and TV out, no DVI.

Regarding the hotkeys: none of the multimedia keys work, of the Fn keys
    Fn+esc Fn+F6 Fn+F7 and Fn+F9 do work, F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F8 and Space don't.

    >my computer only has RGB and TV out, no DVI.

Okay, this DVI thing should be just a possibility left in the ACPI BIOS,
hardwiring a RBG or a DVI port being at the OEM discretion on a per-model basis.
    Forget that.

Okay, thanks, what tool(s) do you uses to determine that ?

they don't do anything, don't generate any output in xev and also
no messages about unknown keys pressed in the syslog. Is there anything
    else I should check?
For your info, the kernel is the stock Suse one.

    Hi,

as additional information, I checked and the hotkeys which work
also do without your module, so it looks like the problem is getting
the hotkeys feature to work, not this or that particular key.

    Regards,
    Claudio.
