    Hi,

    I am trying to control brightness and fan in the Toshiba Satellite A100. The Linux ACPI modules do not allow me to do this.

    I compiled the omnibook module for Linux 2.6.17 (with the patches posted in the bugs section) and got this fom dmesg:

    omnibook: module version 20060126.
    omnibook: Unknown model detected.

    I got this from /proc/omnibook/dmi:
