Vincent [http://ogl-es.sourceforge.net] is an open source project whose goal is to work towards a compliant software implementation of the OpenGL ES API for mobile devices. The initial target platform is Windows Mobile devices using Intel StrongARM and XScale processors.
A unique aspect of our project is to provide a runtime compilation infrastructure that creates optimized rasterizer code for the current graphics context settings using a JIT compiler. This runtime compilation approach, which is otherwise only available in commercial products, distinguishes the current project significantly from other similar open source projects that aim for providing implementations of the OpenGL API.
Recently the project administrator signed the adopters agreement with Khronos, and in return our project is now listed on the offical web site for adopters of OpenGL ES. Besides being recognized as an adopter, this agreement gives full access to the official OpenGL ES conformance test to us, which will allow us to ensure the correctness and compliance of our efforts. If our project successfully passes the conformance testing guidelines we will be able to advertise/promote our project as being compliant; using the OpenGL ES logos and trademarks.
A list of all current adopters of OpenGL ES can be found on the khronos web site http://www.khronos.org/opengles/openglesadopters.html .
