#5 Open Office don't start

Freeduc-cd can be started in LDAP authentication mode.
To do so the boot command 'fr 3' can be entered at the
boot prompt.

In this case Freeduc-cd will ask for a SambaEdu3 server
and a LDAP directory. (the SambaEdu3 server can be
runned from knoppix-se3)

However when runned in this mode (the user home
directory is mounted from the server), the Openoffice
script can not start OpenOffice.

However OpenOffice can be started with:
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice

Hilaire, it's probably the problem of creating symlinks
trough an smbfs mount. This cannot properly work.

One workaround is to create simlinks for some demo users
inside their directory before it is mounted via smbfs. This
can be done prior to burning the SambaEdu3 CD, or can be
done via dynamic creation of the demo users when this CD boots.
