This is more of a question than anything else.
When I attempt to execute an application this failed.
I looked into the source and found a stub for
the LaunchConfiguration which leads me to believe that
this is still to be implemented. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

Launching is affected by the build process and in turn affects the launch process of both standard and debug versions of the application. My question is: what base system will be used for building and launching the applications? Are some of the following viable options:

  • Ant
  • ocamlbuild
  • omake
  • make
  • specialized support within the plug-in

TIA,
Hugo F.

version: latest CVS version
Exec: launched as Eclipse Application
OS: Linux
JDK: 1.5

For the moment, launching isn't developped and isn't a priority. Under windows, the launching works on double click in the package explorer... but that's not the case under linux, unix, etc.

OCaml application launching will be very simple: you'll select an executable and the arguments. Then, clicking on the "Run" button will execute the already built executable.

This feature won't be available in next 1.2... because it's simple to launch executables from an existing terminal/shell.

As this report doesn't report a real bug, I place it into the feature requests.
