Please considering adding;

1. visceral vascular congestion as a child of vasculature congestion [MP:0000255]

DEF: obstruction of the normal flux of blood within the blood vessel network of the internal organs enclosed within the cavity of the body, such as the thoracic, abdominal, endocrine, and pelvic organs
SYN: congested vasculature of any of the visceral organs (including the heart, lungs, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, spleen, and kidneys)
From J:99152, J:92722, J:134980, J:44161, J:94190, J:97640, J:135676

Then add the following children terms:

1a. lung vascular congestion (also a child of abnormal lung vasculature [MP:0004007])
DEF: obstruction of the normal flux of blood within the blood vessel network of the lung
SYN: congested lung vasculature
SYN: pulmonary vascular congestion
From J:106599, J:119874,J:80681, J:95691, J:25652, J:97640, J:96138, J:100308, J:95226, J:108546, J:47618, J:44108, J:40784, J:54692

1b. liver vascular congestion
DEF: obstruction of the normal flux of blood within the blood vessel network of the liver
SYN: congested liver vasculature
SYN: hepatic vascular congestion
From J:50964, J:119874, J:155265, J:134980, J:80681, J:95691, J:25652, J:97640, J:100308, J:95226, J:44108, J:12276, J:133881, J:24347, J:54692, J:24347

1c. spleen vascular congestion
DEF: obstruction of the normal flux of blood within the blood vessel network of the spleen
SYN: congested spleen vasculature
SYN: splenic vascular congestion
From J:97640 plus more

1d. heart vascular congestion
DEF: obstruction of the normal flux of blood within the blood vessel network of the heart
SYN: cardiac vascular congestion
SYN: congested vasculature of the heart
SYN: heart congestion
From J:50964, J:72799, J:62182, J:54692
PLEASE NOTE: WE ALREADY HAVE A TERM FOR congestive heart failure [MP:0006138]

Finally, add:

2. brain vascular congestion (also a child of abnormal brain vasculature [MP:0004950])
DEF: obstruction of the normal flux of blood within the blood vessel network of the brain
From J:94190

The alternative definition from Medilexicon matches Stedman's definition for "brain congestion" identically. So is "brain congestion" the same as "brain vascular congestion"?

I would have thought that increased intravascular compartment volume is often a result of vascular congestion, but not always. I will look at this further to see if we need to adjust all of the definitions but in the meantime, the terms are in and will be available to use tomorrow.

After further cpnsideration, I'll keep the definitions as is.
