Should hyporesponsive to tactile stimuli be a child of abnormal mechanical nociception? Or should we have a term under hypoalgesia for "increased mechanical nociceptive threshold"? I'm annotating a mechanical nociceptive phenotype in J:200749 that I put to abnormal mechanical nociception but when entering the phenotypes I saw that a previous annotation for a very similar phenotype (from J:86560) was annotated to hyporesponsive to tactile stimuli. The NBO has terms for touch related behavior (NBO:0000332, references GO:0050975) and mechanical nociceptive behavior (NBO:0000334, references GO:0050966) but these are not closely related. The referenced GO terms are both children of sensory perception of mechanical stimulus. We may need to reorganize this section.
