Should has_low_plasma_membrane_amount and has_high_plasma_membrane amount be sub properties of has_plasma_membrane_part?
For example if I look for all cells having the CD19 marker, I should get late pro-B cell. Or did I misunderstand the relations low/high amount?

  • Hi Melanie,

I would agree with your analysis and would recommend that has_low_plasma_membrane_amount and has_high_plasma_membrane amount be made sub properties of has_plasma_membrane_part.

We'll try to get this in the CL shortly.

  • HI Alex,
Thanks for the extremely fast reply! Would it be possible to homogenize the labels as well, maybe using membrane_part for all? Or use has_low/high_amount_of_plasma_membrane_part or a derivative of?
In the current state I was actually wondering if part was meant to mean things "fixed" in the membrane", while amount instead referred to "freely circulating". Maybe far fetched, but I was troubled by the difference in names :)
    Thanks,
    Melanie
