I have written (with lots of help) an advanced search function that works with Openbiblio 0.6.0.

It allows the opac user to search by title, collection, material type or any combination of the three.

This was my first attempt at coding with PHP and MySQL. Although I'm sure the code could be written more elegantly, it does work and any improvements or updates are welcomed.

Thank you! This should help hold people over until Joe and I can polish up the new release.

We downloaded this patch and it works great!!! I didn't realize it would also show what is not in the OPAC though. Is there any way to get it to not show the items that do not have the OPAC box checked?
    Thanks, nbatt

Runs fine in a Debian-based installation
but crashes in a Windows-based installation (with PHP Server 5.2 for 32 bit Windows).
Have replaced all <? with <?php
seems to work better, but result windows list found item as entries with no data.
    Someone can help, please!
