The PIC code can then report an unambiguous motor current value to the host, without the need to go through any calibration steps. If the current sense output is 377uA per motor Amp, I would use a 2K7 resistor as Dave suggested, so that 1V ADC voltage = 1A motor draw. The resolution of the ADC is 10-bit, so this will give plenty of precision for the motor current sense line. Regards, Dafydd. |
