Todd, Many thanks, you've suggested the obvious (now) - generate my own. Thanks, I should have thought of this. The only relatively minor problem is that my package will need to update thes generated files as numarray progresses. Colin W. PS Richard Jones has suggested ePyDoc as an enhanced PyDoc.
