Until now Mach Kernel images can only be built with NuBus kernels. But during my testing with the 2.6 kernel I have also succeeded in adding the possibility to create Mach Kernel images. At least they work on my PowerBook G3 Wallstreet. I could build one for you if you wish. As it is a hack I won't publish the changes I made to the kernel sources.
