I have gotten back to school where I have used ntlmaps
last year to good results. Now when I use it, I get
the same requests for my username and password that I
get if I do not use it, except that the proxy is now
listed as 127.0.0.1 I am not sure what sort of
information would be helpful, so I will just follow
this message and see if any is requested.

Leaving the user and password blank and then being asked for the password is sort of what is expected!

If you are using my hash patch then you will need to generate the hashes and enter them into the server.cfg file.

Make sure you haven't got another service running on the same port - is ntlmaps actually running (check for Python(w) in your list of running applications - better yet, use System Internals Process Explorer to check things).
