Hello
Dear NSIS team, can you please include the Armenian language in NSIS 3.0a2?
(The Armenian language is available in NSIS Unicode version).
Thanks.

P.S. I've attached the updated Armenian translations.

There are some problems with the .nsh:

    • The LANGFILE macro now needs 4 parameters.
    • NSIS_CONFIG_COMPONENTPAGE_ALTERNATIVE seems to be broken
    • It is missing the MULTIUSER_INSTALLMODEPAGE strings

LANGFILE is still wrong, the first is the name of the .nlf file, the 2nd is the name in English (Can be = if it is the same as the nlf), the 3rd is the native name in Unicode and the 4th is the native name in ASCII. Ex: LANGFILE "French" = "Français" "Francais" ("Hayeren" in your case?)

NSIS_CONFIG_COMPONENTPAGE_ALTERNATIVE should be a different string, check English.nsh.

    Hi
    I've updated the LANGFILE.
Sorry, but we have only Unicode name of our language.

About NSIS_CONFIG_COMPONENTPAGE_ALTERNATIVE, I can't find any differences between the English and Armenian language files.
Can you mention what are the differences?
    Thanks.

The ISO 639-3 name is hye so I can't be that far off. Are any of the names under "Alternate Names" or "Other Comments" @ http://www.ethnologue.com/language/hye usable?

    The English file has:

      !ifndef NSIS_CONFIG_COMPONENTPAGE_ALTERNATIVE
${LangFileString} MUI_INNERTEXT_COMPONENTS_DESCRIPTION_INFO "Position your mouse over a component to see its description."
      !else
${LangFileString} MUI_INNERTEXT_COMPONENTS_DESCRIPTION_INFO "Select a component to see its description."
      !endif

    OK. Let's use it.

The Armenian language has this string:

    !ifndef NSIS_CONFIG_COMPONENTPAGE_ALTERNATIVE
${LangFileString} MUI_INNERTEXT_COMPONENTS_DESCRIPTION_INFO "Մկնիկի սլաքը ուղղեք բաղադրիչի վրա՝ նկարագրությունը կարդալու համար։"
    !else
${LangFileString} MUI_INNERTEXT_COMPONENTS_DESCRIPTION_INFO "Մկնիկի սլաքը ուղղեք բաղադրիչի վրա՝ նկարագրությունը կարդալու համար։"
    !endif

You are not even testing the files now because that one has a incorrect number of parameters.

Can you see if you recognize any of the names listed under "Alternate names" @ http://www.verbix.com/maps/language/Armenian.html ?

Please say me where did you find the incorrect parameters? (in nsis-2.46.5-Unicode we have not any problems).

    Let's keep this format:

!insertmacro LANGFILE "Armenian" = "Armenian" "Հայերեն" "Armenian"
