    Hi,

    Few months ago I modified the settings for HTMLtag in order to use the number entities intead of the name, for example:

    For the opening question mark "¿"

    • My old HTMLtag replaces:
      & # 191;

    • But the fresh install:
      & iquest;

    I don't know how I did it, but I need to port that config into a new computer and copying the files doesn't work.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

  • All you need to do is remove the definition of iquest from the HTMLTag-entities.ini file.
    To make sure to always use number entities, remove all the definitions (but leave the [HTML4] header in!)

    Depending on how you've configured of Notepad++, the HTMLTag-entities.ini file is looked for in the $NPP\plugins folder or in the %APPDATA%\Notepad++\plugins folder. (If you have a "doLocalConf.xml" in your $NPP folder, then it’ll be looking in the %APPDATA% one.)
