I am trying to use the user define dialog to highlight the syntax of
NASTRAN (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nastran) input files.
Some problems I am having in doing this properly:
There is a block that begins with "BEGIN BULK" and ends with "ENDDATA"
I don't know what the escape character is for spaces or how to tell
notepad++ to look for a string with a space in it.
Also, within this block, there are lines of data that look like this:
GRID 2 760.0 250.0 0.0
Nastran accepts inputs as lines made of 8 character blocks. So I would
like to be able to colour every set of 8 characters on a particular
line. Is that possible?
The subcase block usually looks something like this
LOAD = 1
SPC = 2
It doesn't end with a keyword, rather it is the first blank line. Is it
possible to describe this as a block to notepad++?
