Been using TextPad "all my life" but now NotePad++ is coming soooo close to
superceding it. Nice work!
There's one feature of TextPad which I really miss in NP++ to do with switching
between tabs when you have multiple documents open.
Say you have 5 docs, A to E. In TextPad if you're working on Doc A then press
CTRL+TAB twice to get to Doc C. When you press CTRL+TAB again it switches you
straight back to the last document you were editing, Doc A in this instance.
If you continue to press CTRL+TAB you'll cycle "normally" through the documents,
B, C, D, E and back to A. However, if you work a little on Doc A then press
CTRL+TAB again, you'll jump back to the last edited document, Doc C.
It's difficult to explain but this behaviour is what most people want 9 times
out of 10. Usually you're working on some code, say index.html, switch to the
stylesheet to make a change, then back to the html, then back to the CSS, etc...
Very rarely do you want to sequentially visit each file in turn.
It could always be an option. "CTRL+TAB initially switches to last document".
Anyway, congratulations on a superb product!
