This happens to me all the time. I have to make mass changes to large groups of program and web page. I don't want all the different types of files open in the instance. So What I end up doing is opening up one file in the group, then right clicking and selecting "Open in New Instance", then truning right around and opening all the other file I want from the group in the NEW instance. On the file menu why can't there be an option to start a NEW Instance and let us open the files we want or/and an option to open a session in a NEW Instance. This would makwe thing a whole lot easer.

I also would like to have an option that double-clicked files open in a new window instead of a new tab. The current behavior conflicts with virtual desktop managers like VirtuaWin, where it pulls the Notepad++ window over from another desktop, where it should stay.
