Hi,
I have a system based on Windows 7 O.S. and I am a happy user of Notepad++. I have no problem to see the fixed lenght txt files correctly formatted either with MS Notepad or Notepad++. A friend, instead, I currently don't know which O.S. he has, don't see those files correctly formatted neither with MS Notepad nor with N++. Is there a reason I don't know, maybe related to an older O.S.?
When I say correctly formatted I mean aligned in rows and columns as a dataset table.

Perhaps is he using a proportional font? This would result in lines of s=ame length in characters, but different lengths in pixels.
