Notepad++ problem with Explorer or Light Explorer plugins

  • If I install either of these plugins, the notepad++ window does not open. However it is visible in the Windows Task Manager, so I assume it is running.
    Notepad++ Version 6.3
    Windows 7 x86.

    Has anyone else had this problem?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    These plugins are known to have issues with network drives. Do you have any? Are you using the latest available versions of the plugins? PM lags a little behind sometimes.

      No, I am not using any network drives. I tried installing them using the Plugin Manager. Where could I look for the most current versions?

  • I have a feeling you need to start a service for these to work - computer browser maybe, something "Server", something "CLient" - sorry I can't remember. Search the forums, and you'll find it.

    Versions are posted on the Plugin Central NpWiki++ page as fast as I'm aware of them. I am not aware of any recett update, so PM may have them.

    I have the same problem with those plugins and the only solution I have found is: use the SherloXplorer plugin.
