i have my find dialog box set to go transparent on loss of focus. this has worked brilliantly in all find and replace scenarios until this morning. in the midst of doing a series of "find in files, find all" alternating with "find in files, replace in files", it began to close completely on the former and go transparent on the latter. this occurred literally mid-stream of my performing multiple "find all" alternating with "replace in files". i have no idea what keystroke series could have caused the dialog to behave different for each function. the "transparency, on losing focus" is ticked in both scenarios. i am going now to review the config.xml file, but could use some guidance as to what i might look for...? thanks in advance.

I remember having similar issues long ago on specially long searches. Closing and reopening N++ did the trick.
While this is not a very satisfactory workaround, it was effective.
