It would be great if we can undo close tab with Ctrl+Shift+Tab, just like we can on Chrome browser.
When you close a tab, the refrenced ile will appear in the recent file list anyway, doesn't this help?
Notepad# plugin has such a feature.
Notepad# is a monstrous combine. I wish someone would release just "Undo close tab" plugin, adding the corresponding button (and a CTRL+SHIFT+T hotkey).
As CChris told, the last closed tab will be in the recent file list. In fact, it will always be the first in list, so it is easy to make a macro with AutoHotkey to reopen it. Here are the lines to put in the ahk script:
#IfWinActive ahk_class Notepad++
^+t:: send !f1
(this is for Ctrl-Shift-T; simply change the 't' for 'Tab', if you prefer)
I know I can use autohotkey scripts for that, but I don't like the idea to use scripts for such basic things.
Why not add a proper hotkey or even a toolbar button for that into N++?
