    hi i have a file1 like this

    123-4567890
    234-5677890
    345-6789012
    111-1111111
    222-2222222
    .....
    ...
    ..
    up to 100 set numbers

and now i have another file2 which only have about 10 set numbers like this
    122-5555555
    111-1111111
    ...

i try to find all 10 sets numbers in file1 at once AND highlight or mark all matched numbers
in the example the "111-1111111 " should be marked in file1 last i want all marked numbers.
how to copy all marked numbers in once to another new file?

    Hello eddie,

I didn't understand, exactly, how are organized your phone numbers in your two files but it's easy to answer to your last question : How to copy all marked numbers in once to another new file ?

Let suppose> you would like to insert, in a new tab, all the lines, of the change.log, of the last version v6.5.5, which contain, for example, the word Fix :

    • Open the change.log file ( CTRL + O )

    • Open the Search dialog ( CTRL + F )

    • Select the Mark last tab

    • Type in the word Fix in the Find what zone

    • Check the Bookmark line, Match whole word only and Wrap around square boxes

    • Select the search mode Normal

    • Click on the Mark All button, on the right

    • Click on menu Search - Bookmark - Copy Bookmarked Lines

    • Open a new tab ( CTRL + N )

    • Paste the previous bookmarked lines ( CTRL + V )

    Et voilà !

    Cheers

    P.S. :

In the same way, you may, also, cut, remove or replace ( by current selection ), the bookmarked lines, remove the unmarked lines or invert the bookmarks !
