Hi - I would like to have Notepad ++ to open a specific *.txt document every time I use
Notepad++ - how can I do this?
If it is not possibel, can I make inside the Notepad ++ a shortcut to a specific *.txt file
Dialog Preferences - misc - Remember current session for next launch,
and look in other preferences to ...
If I have mistakenly closed the file that I would like to be able to have access to all the time, so it will not appear the next time I open Notepad ++. Therefore, I had hoped that I could refer to a file in the settings/files which always like to automatically open, or that I had in the toolbar next to all the other icons could make a shortcut.
You can always define a User Command to do this. And even stick it on the Toolbar using the Customize TOolbar plugin.
Create a shortcut:
"C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe" "C:\file.txt"
