    Hello eddie,

    I didn't understand, exactly,what you would like to :

    • Delete the two round brackets symbols "(" and ") ONLY, in all the lines ?

    • Delete these round brackets AND everything inside these brackets, in all the lines ?

In the first case, with the Regular expression search mode set :

    SEARCH : \(|\)

    REPLACE : Nothing

In the second case, with the Regular expression search mode set :

    SEARCH : \(.*?\)

    REPLACE : Nothing

    Notes :

    • The two round bracket symbols must be escaped, with the \ character, as they have a special meaning, in regular expressions.

    • The first search is an alternative between the two round bracket symbols.

    • The second search matches an opening round bracket, followed by anything until a first ending round bracket, included.

    Best Regards,

    P.S. :

For a little amount of lines ( < 200 ), the John Bowman's method is quicker to achieve !
