Has anyone else seen a problem with Notepad++ 6.6.9 corrupting files? I have a large 10MB XML file. When I make multiple search/replaces on the file, the file starts getting corrupted. It appears that the problem usually occurs in extra text disappearing after search/replaces that were performed. I am doing simple search/replaces with straight text only, no wildcards, regex, or anything fancy.
Fortunately, it is easier to detect in XML since chunks of a file being chopped out ends up with syntax errors. I'm worried about using NP++ on other files now where random corruptions would go undetected.
Thanks!

I believe to turn off "session snapshot/periodic backup" solves your problem.
