BUG Report:

Since immediately after upgrading to NotePad++ 6.2.2, I can no longer open files via the Explorer in Windows! This includes:
- Right-click text file in Explorer window, "Open With" > "NotePad++"
- Double-click text file in Explorer window (when file type is associated w/ Np++)
- Right-click text file, click "Edit with Notepad++" shell integration menu item

I can now only open text files from within the editor, i.e. using "File" > "Open" dialog or clicking an entry in "Recent Files" list!

    I had this on Win7 64bit until I re-registered the shell extension dll as follows:
    - close notepad++
    - open a command prompt ('run as administrator' if relevant to your Windows version)
    - cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++"
    - regsvr32.exe NppShell_05.dll
    You should get message confirming this has succeeded. Presumably the installer should do this for us...?
