#2576 Update to New Version Fails

Using Windows 7 x64, I receive a notification of an available update. After downloading the update, the next dialog, in the attached pictured, asks to close Notepad++ to continue the update. When Yes is clicked, all windows close and all Notepad++ processes disappear. On the next start of the program, it again notifies me of the update, and I can go through the same process. If I click no on the last dialog box, it acts as expected and simply ends the process, leaving Notepad++ running, but again notifies me of the update on the next start.

    I have the same issue. Using Windows XP Professional - Service Pack 3

     
  • I have the same problem. Using Windows XP SP 3. Notepad is stuck at version 5.3.1 for me. I'll try uninstalling and installing the latest.
