Hi,

I am using notepad++ on Vista (Ultimate) and have found the following issue:

If the last/only file I have open is from a removeable device when I close it the editor is not closing the file properly and I cannot 'eject' the removeable device (e.g. usb stick).

I have tried the following:

1. * close last open file
* try to eject/"safely remove" memory stick and get "Cannot stop device because it is in use" error
* close Notepad++
* try to eject/"safely remove" memory stick - works ok

2. * close last open file
* try to eject/"safely remove" memory stick and get "Cannot stop device because it is in use" error
* open another file in Notepad++ from a location other than the memory stick
* try to eject/"safely remove" memory stick - works ok

3. * close file that is on the memory stick with other files still open in the editor
* try to eject/"safely remove" memory stick - works ok

I have also tried this under XP and the behaviour is identical.

Thanks
Andy
