When loading a NIF with a NiConvexTransformShape the shape itself is not shown in the viewport. You can open the UI for the transform and play with the values and the live-update will refresh the shape and display it, you can leave the UI and it it stays visible.

Fix: Refresh the shape as well while doing the initial view-port refresh.

Corwinn, are you happy to have a look at this one? This seems to be in your area of expertise.

I'm sorry, but what is "NiConvexTransformShape"? Do you mean "bhkConvexTransformShape"?

I'm not sure what is required here. I just loaded a few .nif files what have "bhkConvexTransformShape" blocks and the shapes are all rendered just fine all the time under two different OS-es?
Could you please provide a .nif file and/or some screen-shots?
Are you sure you're using the latest RC: NifSkope 1.1.0?

  • Yes, I meant bhkConvexTransformShape.
The report was with 1.0.12, I'll see if I can quickly find a NIF with it and look if RC1 has it fixed.

Setting to "pending"... gentle_sal: we simply need a way to reproduce this - an example nif is instrumental.

The behavior can not be reproduced.
