    Hi,

I just installed ngspice-24 using the windows binary and I am going through the "how-to-use-ngspice120128.txt" file. I'm at the section where the instructions say the following:

    *********************************************************************
    *********************************************************************
    * Use ngnutmeg for plotting within the dos window (cmd.exe), using the
    raw file timp.raw created above:

    * Open a DOS window.

    *** DOS window:

    set PATH=%PATH%;C:\Spice\bin

    cd C:\Spice\examples\transimpedanceamp

    ngnutmeg timp.raw

    *** ngnutmeg window:

    plot vout2
    plot i(v3)

    quit

I don't see ngnutmeg in my "Spice\bin" folder. In fact, I only see ngspice.exe and vcomp90.dll.

Why don't I have ngnutmeg? Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks
    -Adam

    Adam,

in fact the text is a littele bit outdated, since ngnutmeg was not distributed anymore. Since ngnutmeg is a subset of ngspice (the backe-end), please use ngspice instaed with:

    cd C:\Spice\examples\transimpedanceamp
    ngspice
    load timp.raw
    plot vout2
    plot i(v3)
    quit
