When writing a note, I'd like to be able to use <ctrl>-c for creating a checklist and <ctrl>-l (lowercase L). I am using ubuntu 12.04. In the Evernote desktop application for Windows this functionality exists.
You should be able to do this now by copying the shortcuts.txt file to ~/.nixnote and editing it to add your custom shortcuts.
Does this mean ~/.nevernote on DEB packages? and can the shortcuts.txt file be attached here as it does not exist.
Copy the /usr/local/share/nixnote/shortcuts to ~/.nevernote/shortcuts.txt. From there you can edit it and it should pick up the changes the next time you restart nixnote.
