Thankyou. Adding user_xattr to my fstab-entry and making /usr/local/etc/netatalk writeable by the group to which the user logging in belongs to does indeed fix the first two issues. However, the dir_remove(did:20, . . . : dir is locked or has open forks problem still remains.
