If you keep using 2.0.x pleae make sure you configure syslogd to pass
all daemon.* messages to some file. E.g. add
  "daemon.*        /var/log/afpd.log"
to syslog.conf and send -HUP to syslogd. Depending on your OS you
might have to adjust this for syslog-ng etc.
