it seems I run into a simple how two question : on a new opensuse11 installation , user files just dont get read/write to the group the share is rw. I compared access rights with my older debian system and both have drwsrwsr-t so simple question (I belive I have a wrong ownership on my share folder on the server side) : how to chomd so that files get right on the server ? is there a difference depending which flavour I use (debian / suse / freebsd ) in how to set up share directories on the server ? I never had these probs before... ok thats about 3 years ago that I last installed netatalk I must admit .... |
