Hi,

Considering the following afp.conf :

[TM $u]
path = /data/timemachine/$u
time machine = yes

  1. When starting afpd server, I get an error message:
    realpath() cannot resolve path "/data/timemachine/$u"

  2. When user1 connects to volume "TM user1"
    I get the following error message on server side :

    main: no volume for path "/data/timemachine/user1"
    transmit : Reauest to dbd daemon (db_dir /data/timemachine/user1) timed out
    afp_openvol(/data/timemachine/user1): Fatal error: Unable to get stamp value from CNID backend

/data/timemachine/user1 is currently a new directory created by user1.

If you can do anything about this, thanks for your help.
Regards,
