I meant to reference another patch from hennevogel, since I think it fixes his issue too. The patch is attached to his patch here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1205540&group_id=12694&atid=312694 Direct link to patch is here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/download.php?group_id=12694&atid=312694&file_id=137034&aid=1205540 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marcus Meissner (marcusmeissner) Date: 2005-06-13 09:16 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=48092 robert, where did you add this patch? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Robert Story (rstory) Date: 2005-06-10 20:12 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=76148 Marcus, welcome to our portability hell. A few comments: 1) your patch changes API parameters. This is very strongly discourages, for backwards compatability issues. 2) I notice that all of the patched routines were using the old_api handler. I'm pretty sure that I've previously determined that the old_api wrapper did not properly handle 64/32 bit conversions. Can you try the patch I attached to this problem report, and see if it helps any without your patch applied? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Radek (radekrat) Date: 2005-03-15 11:39 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1122867 This patch causes problems on ia64 and definatelly doesn't fix 64bit issues. When quering ip adresses from ia64 machine it causes timeouts, without this patch everything works correctly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2005-03-15 11:10 Message: Logged In: NO This patch breaks snmpwalk on ia64. It brings 64bit problems, not fixes. With the patch I see several timeout quering ip adresses. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=312694&aid=1117267&group_id=12694 |
