Bugs item #469769, was opened at 2001-10-09 22:55 You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112694&aid=469769&group_id=12694 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: ucd-snmp interfaces not working properly Initial Comment: I'm having a problem with monitoring the traffic on several linux servers. I have ucd-snmp-4.1.1 -3 running on serveral RedHat Linux 6.2 servers and ucd- snmp-4.2-12 on another RedHat Linux 7.1 server. (The 7.1 is a clean install not more than a month old.) The problem that I'm having is the fact that eth1 and eth2 NICs inbound traffic (ifInOctets) are being recording and not outbound (ifOutOctets). Furthermore, one 6.2 server isn't even recording the ifInOctets. To top it all of eth0's ifInOctets and ifOutOctets are being recorded properly. The more I research on the net, the more I believe that this is an issue with ucd-snmp. I have found numerous pages dating back more than a year with this same issue. I even found some in Japanese. However, I haven't found any info on how to correct this problem. Does any one have an idea??? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Wes Hardaker (hardaker) Date: 2001-11-02 10:30 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=76242 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112694&aid=469769&group_id=12694 |
