Category: agent Group: freeBSD Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Craig Leres (leres) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: libnetsnmpmibs.so links against libperl.so twice Initial Comment: Starting with net-snmp 5.5, libnetsnmpagent.so links against libperl.so twice. By itself, this might not be an issue however ldd reports that the first instance can't be found. See attached ldd output. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Craig Leres (leres) Date: 2010-06-17 10:40 Message: Comment By: Thomas Anders (tanders): > What's the output of the following commands: > > net-snmp-config --configure-options > net-snmp-config --agent-libs > ldd /usr/local/lib/libnetsnmp*.so.20 > > I suspect you've built the net-snmp 5.5 package yourself? Actually, I used the FreeBSD port. I ripped out perl and all perl packages and rebuilt and that solved my issue. Thanks for getting me back on track! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Thomas Anders (tanders) Date: 2010-06-17 04:13 Message: What's the output of the following commands: net-snmp-config --configure-options net-snmp-config --agent-libs ldd /usr/local/lib/libnetsnmp*.so.20 I suspect you've built the net-snmp 5.5 package yourself? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112694&aid=3017197&group_id=12694 |
