Hi Dave, Thanks for the reply. Well we could able to find the reason for the problem. Before let me explain the actual scenario in which we are using agent-subagent approach in which the subagent inturn forwards the request to next module in our project which has the complete idea about MIB tree(getting the oid from the request and converting oid to our module understandable format and then prossesing according to the request whether to read or write and converting back to the oid and sendig the response to the subagent which inturn forwards it to master.) The problem was in case of tables we were not creating the instanses of the object in the subagent. So the master will not come to know that perticular instance is there or not. So when ever I issue snmpgetnext command it was searching for the immediate next instance. Since no instances were known by the master it was looking for the object till the end of the table. In our case the end of the table was istance 10000000. So master would look till 10000000 and send instance no:10000001 to subagent. So later we created the table instances using mytable_createEntry. So now I could create instances and able to send getnext command which is working fine for some table. But is this appooach is correct to create instances in the table.
