The pass/pass_persist extension mechanisms both
invoke the specified script when a relevant SNMP
request is received. With pass_persist, this
script then keeps running, and can process further
requests without needing to start up again. This
avoids a possibly long delay for the second and
subsequent requests.

It would be useful to have some way to indicate that
the script should be started immediately, without
waiting for the first relevant request. This would
therefore incorporate the startup overheads into
the initial agent startup sequence, and avoid
delaying *any* SNMP request processing.
