I've seen redraw problems too.
Start a selection with at least one window worth of lines
after the display end and extend it backwards until the end
of the selection scrolls off the bottom of the window.
The last line displayed is highlighted and is not the
correct last line for the window. I think it might be either
the last deleted line or the last line in the window.

I have rebuilt from a clean HEAD checkout to eliminate the
possibility of other patches causing errors. I would attach

1 Open ./README and select the first 12 lines. Resize the
window to display the top 10 lines.
2 Press delete. Line 10 was one oth those deleted but
remains on screen and highlighted.
3 Partial window redraw (after other window on top)

4 Total window redraw (minimize/restore) and all is OK.
