I use a macro to check in files in a Clearcase VOB. If
successful, the macro reverts to the file on disk:
- - - Schnipp - - -
define cc_ct
{
subcmd = $1
switch = $2
filename = $3

command = "cleartool " subcmd " " switch " " filename

answer = shell_command(command, "")
if ($shell_cmd_status == 0)
{
revert_to_saved()
} else
{
dialog(answer)
}
}
- - - Schnapp - - -

Now I accidently used this to check in a changed file.
As a result, the file was read-only but marked as
changed. It seems to be a visual thing only, the file
could not be changed.
