No

There is no action when depressing the right button on
the mouse within the editor window. It is as if NEdit
5.4 does not recognize that there is a button.
The 5.3 did have the rt-click menu which had been
modified/reconfigured.
This occurs with the default of no nedit.rc file as
well as with the converted rc file.

Using:
NEdit binary from NEdit.org
Linux -smp-2.4.19 & also 2.4.22
lesstif-0.93.49 is installed (but that should not
matter since I am using the NEdit binary)

You probably have NumLock, CapsLock, or ScrollLock on.
The right click menu is disabled when any of these are on
because of a bug in OpenMotif that could cause the X server
    to hang or even crash.
This is already the case since 5.3.

    Please confirm.

Then how about only disable the right click menu when build
with OpenMotif? A simply #ifdef could do that?

    Hey edg:

Yep, the numlock was on and as soon as it was turned off the
    rt-clk menu started working.

In the past I have used a 5.3 binary built with lesstif so
    that OM bug never showed.
And you are correct about the X problem. Giving focus back
to nedit with a right click caused the server to briefly
    wig-out(black screen). It's repeatable too(yes, i'm stupid -
i tried it more than once :)...
I think Lesstif is not so bad now and I should try to build
with latest (.49 here) version. If the font corruption is
gone, I can live with the xmfontlist 'obsolete' error
message as annoying as it is.

    Thanks again!
