I downloaded sas.pats from ftp://ftp.nedit.org/pub/contrib/highlighting/ and imported it into
nedit. Now, when I load a .sas file, I get
Error in syntax highlighting reg. exp:
\&quot; is an invalid escape sequence
How can I fix this?

Could you send me a short .sas file where this error shows?
To make that clear: The error is there, the question seems
to be whether the fix is '\\&quot;' or '"'. Can some SAS user
comment on this?
Anyone? If nobody is interested anymore we can as well close
Nobody is interested in SAS, so the attached version is
